Jason started his career in the fitness industry in 2014 while taking prerequisite classes for the Brookdale Community College Nursing school program. At the time he didn't know where to take his career; he just knew he wanted to have the opportunity to help people and that he enjoyed training in the gym. Eventually, his experiences personal training drove him to further his education and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, and become a fitness professional.

Growing up Jason played ice hockey. He started skating at 5 years old, and playing at 6. In high school he helped petition and create Colts Neck High School's first ever school team, which is one of the reasons he started going to the gym.

The main reason that kept Jason in the gym was how it helped his self confidence. Transforming his body and getting stronger helped to build confidence. His training in the gym eventually led him to discover powerlifting! This sport was the first athletic endeavor since high school hockey and reignited his competitive spirit.

After a few years of competing in Powerlifting, taking on difficult obstacle course races, learning more about the science of strength and conditioning in school, and being fascinated by movement, Jason steered his career in personal training towards sport performance (which is what led him to discovering and learning more about olympic weightlifting).

Jason had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside some of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the industry during his time interning at Reach Your Potential Training. Additionally, he gained a lot of experience learning how to work with special population clients and understand more about movement quality from his time working at CentraState Fitness and Wellness Center, a hospital based fitness center.

Jason's goal is ultimately continue to help people. His passion lies within weightlifting and movement optimization. He loves having the opportunity to assess people's movement and create programs that cater to their goals, while optimizing their quality of life through movement.
