About the event + Schedule
The Grand Openinig Lift Off is the perfect time to see Mach 1 Barbell's new facility in action! Throughout the day we will have 30 minute demos of all of our classes, the ability to work hands on with Dr. RJ (Doctor of Physical Therapy), and, if you're up for the challenge, test your might and try to earn a "1,000lb club" t-shirt.Â
If you're interested in tryin a demo of our classes, you'll need to RSVP with a ticket to the class you'd like to try. There is no limit, so you can get tickets to all classes!Â
If you plan on on coming in to see the facility, do some hands on soft tissue work with RJ, or for anyting else then no RSVP is required. Bring your friends as it will be a party and there will be concessions available, music playing, and overall great times to be had!

About the Classes:
Send it & Sweat it is our conditioning focused class. The core emphasis of this class is to develop muscular endurance, incorporate fundamental strenth training exercises, and develop anaerobic and aerobic capacity. This is the perfect fit for those looking develop more endurance and work in different kinds of cardio into their workout routine.
Average to Savage puts the emphasis on strength training and progressive overload. This class incorporates compound, multi joint, & functional movement patterns into workouts meant to help anyone get stronger and build lean muscle tissue. The workouts are planned to progress over time with an ultimate goal of testing progress every 8-12 weeks through major strength markers.Â
Intro to Weightlifting is the perfect starting point for anyone who has any interest in learning the classic barbell lifts, namely the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. These lifts are part of a sport called Olympic Weightlifting, or sometimes just Weightlifting (not to be confused with powerlifting). The Olympic Lifts are full body athletic exercises that challenge individual's mobility, strength, power, and atletic abilities. Even if you have no intentions on competing in the sport, these exercises are unmatched in their ability to develop the body in a unique and functional way. However, if you do want to eventually compete with our team, this is the perfect springboard to get started!
Youth Development is meant for athletes from middle school to high school. Building a strong foundation in the gym is a great way improve sport performance on the field or court, as well as set up kids for a healthy future. Give your young athletes the opportunity to work with educated and seasoned professionals passionate about helping your kids get stronger, faster, and more physically dominant.
